Chris Goley


Lieutenant Christopher Goley joined the Papillion Police Department in 2001. He has spent over 20 years assigned to road patrol working night shift and serving as a Police Service Dog (PSD) handler, instructor and evaluator. He is the recipient of numerous Lifesaving Awards and was named the “2021 Law Enforcement Officer of the Year”.   Lt. Goley graduated from Creighton University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Emergency Medical Services. He is a nationally registered Paramedic and a certified Tactical Paramedic. In addition to his current assignment as the Administrative Services Commander, he also serves as the Team Leader for the Sarpy TacMed team.   Christopher Goley is also a veteran of the United States Air Force. After graduating from the Defense Language Institute as a Korean Linguist, he then spent most of his Air Force career serving in the Republic of Korea. While stationed there, he continued his Korean Language studies at Yonsei University.   In his free time, Lieutenant Goley enjoys reading, Korean cuisine, photography and training his four-legged partner, K-9 Trinity.
