The City of Papillion, with help from Sarpy County Tourism, will honor softball stars and Papillion natives Jordyn Bahl and Peaches James-Keaton by ceremonially renaming two streets.
The ceremony will take place on July 21, 10 a.m., at the Papillion Landing Softball Complex, during the 2023 USA Softball Class B 18-Under Northern National Tournament, an event hosted by Sarpy County Tourism in partnership with the City of Papillion.
During the event, the streets that intersect at the softball complex will be ceremonially renamed to Jordyn Bahl Boulevard and Peaches James Way. The event will feature several speakers, including Husker Softball Coach Rhonda Revelle, Dr. JoAnne Owens-Nauslar, Papillion-La Vista Monarchs Softball Coach Todd Petersen, and Papillion Mayor David Black.
