Law Enforcement Education Program (LEEP)

The Papillion Police Department’s Law Enforcement Education Program (LEEP) is for anyone 19 and older who is considering a career in law enforcement as well as everyday citizens who would like to learn more about their police department. The program provides an opportunity to experience a day in the life of a police officer by attending four blocks of instruction during the one-day event. The interactive program includes instruction about SWAT, building searches, DWI, patrol, K-9, defensive tactics and more. Each participant will conclude the day by actively participating in two scenarios where they will use the working knowledge they learned during the previous classes.

The 2021 LEEP program is scheduled for Saturday, November 6, 2021, 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Papillion Police Department, 1000 E First Street. Registration is required. The deadline to register is October 29, 2021. Space is limited. Registration is free and includes lunch and a T-shirt.
