Historic Downtown Papillion Walking Tour

The Historic Downtown Papillion Walking Tour consists of 21 historical markers spread throughout the heart of Papillion, highlighting significant locations and sharing historical narratives and photos. The walking tour begins at Papillion City Hall, 122 E Third Street in Papillion. Residents and visitors can take the tour at any time, with each marker including a map of where to go next. The walking tour is a great activity for families, youth groups, schools, tourists, historians and more.

The Historic Downtown Papillion Walking Tour is a Leadership Sarpy Legacy Project, in partnership with the City of Papillion, Papillion Area Historical Society, Papillion Community Foundation and Sarpy Museum, with support from a variety of community sponsors.

About Leadership Sarpy

Leadership Sarpy is a 9-month leadership program of the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce designed to build leaders and engage them in the county. As part of the program, participants are split into teams and challenged to develop and accomplish a Legacy Project, leaving a lasting impact on the county.
