To identify incidences of residential crime in Papillion.
Organize and train citizens on how to secure their homes and personal property in order to reduce the risk of becoming a victim of crime.
Encourage neighbors to become familiar with each other, along with how to work together in a program of mutual assistance.
Train citizens to utilize the "Vacation Watch Program" provided by the police department.

How to Develop a Program
The Papillion Neighborhood Lookouts Program is not complicated and can be implemented in a short period of time. The program doesn't require large investments of time or money by citizens, is flexible and can be adapted to meet the needs of any particular neighborhood.
