NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Papillion, Nebraska will be held at 7:00 p.m. on April 16, 2019, in the City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East Third Street, Papillion, NE 68046. This meeting will be open to the public. An agenda for the meeting is kept continuously current and available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk. Requests for any special accommodations should be made to the City Clerk at least forty-eight hours prior to the time of the meeting.

CITY OF PAPILLION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Papillion, Nebraska will hold a public hearing on the 16th day of April, 2019, at 7:00 PM at the City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East Third St., Papillion, NE 68046 to consider:

ORD 1838 – An ordinance to annex certain real estate to the City of Papillion, Nebraska, and to provide for an effective date thereof. The annexation area consists of one tract legally described as part of Tax Lot 3A1A1 in the SW 1/4 of Section 2, T13N, R11E of the 6th P.M., Sarpy County, Nebraska, together with part of Capehart Road right of way in said SW 1/4 adjoining said Tax Lot 3A1A1, together with part of Capehart Road right of way in the NW 1/4 of Section 11, T13N, R11E of the 6th P.M., said Sarpy County, all more particularly described as follows: Commencing at the northeast corner of said Tax Lot 3A1A1; Thence west on the north line of said Tax Lot 3A1A to the west line of 150th Street and the Point of Beginning; Thence south on the west line of 150th Street to a point 50.00 feet south of the north line of said NW 1/4; Thence westerly on the south lines of Capehart Road and its easterly extension to the southerly extension of the west line of said Tax Lot 3A1A1; Thence northerly on the west line of said Tax Lot 3A1A1 and its southerly extension to the northwest corner of said Tax Lot 3A1A; Thence east on the north line of said Tax Lot 3A1A1 to the Point of Beginning. ORD. 1839 – An ordinance to change the official Zoning Map of the City of Papillion in accordance with Section 205-32 of the Papillion Municipal Code to adopt a Zoning Map and to apply existing or future zoning regulations, property use regulations, building ordinances, electrical ordinances, plumbing ordinances, and all other regulatory ordinances of the City of Papillion pursuant to Neb. Rev. Stat. §16-901. The applicant is the City of Papillion.

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Papillion will hold public hearings on the 24th day of April 2019, at 7:00 PM at the City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East Third St., Papillion, NE 68046 to consider:

A Special Use Permit to allow Automotive rental and sales as a permitted use on the property legally described as Lot 3 and the E 50’ of Lot 4, Pink Industrial Park, generally located at 12054 Roberts Road. The applicant is Ulises Garcia. (Superior EuroWorks)

A Comprehensive Plan Amendment to change the Future Land Use Map designation from Low Density Residential to a mix of Low Density Residential and Medium Density Residential and to modify the Parks Plan to eliminate a public park for the property legally described as a tract of land being part of Tax Lot 4, a tax lot located in the NW ¼ of Section 5, T13N, R12E of the 6th P.M., Sarpy County, NE, generally located on the SW corner of S 114th Street and Schram Road. NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
INSURANCE BROKER SERVICES

The cities of Hastings, Holdrege, La Vista and Papillion, Nebraska are requesting proposals from qualified firms to provide Insurance Broker Services for their property, liability, and workers’ compensation insurance programs effective October 1, 2019. The cities participate in an interlocal agreement and will select one broker who will be required to seek competitive insurance proposals for each city.

Insurance brokers experienced in public entity risks may request the broker RFP by emailing the project consultant, James Charlesworth, at jcharlesworth@charlesworthconsulting.com.

Broker Proposals will be accepted until 12:00 p.m. (noon), May 8, 2019. There will be no public opening.
