CITY OF PAPILLION NOTICE OF MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Papillion, Nebraska will be held at 7:00 p.m. on August 3, 2021, in the Chrysalis Event Center at Papillion Landing, 1046 W Lincoln St, Papillion, NE 68046. This meeting will be open to the public. Public comment can always be provided in writing via email or letter prior to the meeting. Such comments can be addressed to cityclerk@papillion.org or City Clerk, City of Papillion, 122 E 3rd St, Papillion, NE 68046. An agenda for the meeting is kept continuously current and available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk, temporarily located at 330 W Halleck St, during normal business hours. Requests for any special accommodations should be made to the City Clerk at least forty-eight hours prior to the time of the meeting.

CITY OF PAPILLION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Papillion will hold a public hearing on the 3rd day of August, 2021, at 7:00 PM in the Chrysalis Event Center at Papillion Landing, 1046 W Lincoln St, Papillion, NE, to consider approval of ORD. 1934 – An ordinance to approve minor amendments to the 2018 IRC and IBC, and the 2017 NEC, in order to make them consistent with fence and pool regulations in the zoning code, as well as current inspection practices. All persons interested in the actions of this body should plan to attend this hearing. Public comment can also be provided in writing via email or letter prior to the meeting. CITY OF PAPILLION NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Papillion will hold a public hearing on the 3rd day of August 2021, at 7:00 PM in the Chrysalis Event Center at Papillion Landing, 1046 W Lincoln St, Papillion, NE to consider:

Ordinance No. 1932 – A request to amend Section 205-249 (Parking for commercial, personal, and recreational vehicles), of Article XXXVI (Off-Street Parking), of Chapter 205 (Zoning) of the Papillion Municipal Code, having to do with parking of recreational vehicles and trailers on residential lots. The applicant is Councilman Steve Sunde. (RV Parking Ordinance Amendment) 

Ordinance No. 1935 – A request to amend Section 205-11 (Definition of general terms) of Article II (Development Definitions), and Section 205-215 (Setback adjustments) of Article XXXIV (Supplemental Site Development Regulations), both of Chapter 205 Zoning of the Papillion Municipal Code having to do with patio setbacks. The applicant is the City of Papillion. (Patio Amendment)

All persons interested in the actions of this body should plan to attend this hearing. Attendance in the Event Center may be limited or staggered, based on social distancing guidelines. Public comment can always be provided in writing via email or letter prior to the meeting. Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Papillion will hold public hearings on the 28th day of July 2021, at 7:00 PM in the Chrysalis Event Center at Papillion Landing, 1046 W Lincoln St, Papillion, NE to consider:

Ordinance No. 1934 – An ordinance to amend in its entirety Chapter 92, Article III, Section 15 of the Papillion Municipal Code entitled “Adoption of Standards”, to adopt the following listed International and National Building and Construction Codes; to provide for local amendments to the same; having to do with the adoption of International Residential Code (IRC); International Building Code (IBC); International Energy Conservation Code (IECC); International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC); International Plumbing Code (IPC); International Mechanical Code (IMC);International Existing Building Code (IEBC); National Electric Code (NEC); International Fire Code (IFC); and the International Code Council Performance Code (ICCPC). The applicant is the City of Papillion. 

A request for a Preliminary Plat and a Change of Zone from AG Agricultural to LI Limited Industrial for the property legally described as the S1/2 of the SE1/4 of Section 25, T14N, R11E of the 6th P.M., Sarpy County, NE, generally located on the NW corner of S 132nd St and HWY 370. The applicant is NP Dodge. (Black Elk Industrial) 

A request to amend § 205-218 (Fence Regulations), of Article XXXIV (Supplemental Site Development Regulations), of Chapter 205 Zoning of the Papillion Municipal Code, to provide regulations for residential trash enclosures. The applicant is Councilman Steve Sunde. (Residential Trash Enclosures Ordinance Amendment)
