CITY OF PAPILLION NOTICE OF MEETING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a meeting of the Mayor and City Council of the City of Papillion, Nebraska will be held at 7:00 p.m. on January 19, 2021, in the Chrysalis Event Center at Papillion Landing, 1046 W Lincoln St, Papillion, NE 68046. This meeting will be open to the public. Attendance in the Event Center may be limited or staggered, based on social distancing guidelines. Public comment can always be provided in writing via email or letter prior to the meeting. Such comments can be addressed to cityclerk@papillion.org or City Clerk, City of Papillion, 122 E 3rd St, Papillion, NE 68046. An agenda for the meeting is kept continuously current and available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk during normal business hours. Requests for any special accommodations should be made to the City Clerk at least forty-eight hours prior to the time of the meeting.

Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Papillion will hold public hearings on the 19th day of January, 2021, at 7:00 PM in the Chrysalis Event Center at Papillion Landing, 1046 W Lincoln St, Papillion, NE. The purpose of these hearings is to consider approval of the following:

ORD. 1914 – An ordinance to approve the vacation of the unimproved part of the First St right-of-way lying in the South ½ of the NE ¼ and in the NW ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 26, T14N, R12E of the 6th P.M., Sarpy County, NE with title thereto retained by the City of Papillion

Ordinance No. 1920 – A request for approval of an ordinance to rename Fall Creek Road abutting Lots 407 – 421, Eagle Ridge to be S Fall Creek Road. The applicant is the City of Papillion. (Rename Fall Creek Road)

Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Papillion will hold public hearings on the 27h day of January 2021, at 7:00 PM by to consider:

A request to amend (1) Table 205-38 (Permitted Uses Table) of Article IV (Zoning District Regulations) to allow Multiple-Family Residential in the CC Community Commercial District by Special Use Permit and (2) § 205-89 (Site Regulations) of Article XIV (Community Commercial District) to adopt site regulation for Multiple-Family Residential. If within thirty days after passage and publication of Ordinance 1908 a remonstrance petition against such sale is signed by registered voters of the city equal in number to thirty percent of the registered voters of the city voting at the last regular municipal election held herein, and is filed with the City Clerk, the property described in the Quitclaim Deed shall not then, nor within one year thereafter, be sold.
