Storm Cleanup Updates
June 19, 2017
Papillion Public Works staff will begin curbside pick-up for city residents of limbs and branches from Friday’s storm on Tuesday, June 20, 2017.
Pick-up will take place during the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 20, 2017 through Friday, June 23, 2017, and will resume on Monday, June 26, 2017, ending on Tuesday June 27, 2017. There will be no weekend pick-up.
Pick-up will begin on the south side of town and will work north through the city the rest of the week.
Only limbs and branches will be picked up. No other materials will be taken. Limbs must be no longer than six feet, and they must be located at the curb/right of way in manageable bundles. Staff will not go on private property or into yards to pick up these items.
City of La Vista Public Works staff will be aiding these pick-up efforts. You may see City of La Vista vehicles throughout this process.
Please note that the Papillion Public Works dumpsite, located at 99th Circle and Portal Road, is also open to residents and Papillion water customers Monday through Thursday from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. each day, Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. We are only accepting tree limbs/debris and other outdoors storm-damaged items that are a result of Friday's storm, such as fencing, roof shingles, siding, deck material, and trampolines. Please note, this is not a full cleanup days event; the next cleanup days will be in October. Please secure loads as stray branches have been littering the streets.
