CommemoraTree
The CommemoraTree Program is designed to allow people the opportunity to purchase a tree to be planted in a Papillion city park in honor of a person or event. Examples of special events might include: birth, anniversary, wedding, graduation, Mother’s or Father’s Day, etc. This program allows anyone interested in providing a lasting contribution to their community to take advantage of planting a tree for future generations to enjoy.
Donors may request the tree variety and the specific park in which they desire their tree to be planted. The Papillion Tree Board reserves the right for final approval. Trees will be purchased, planted and maintained by the Papillion Tree Board and the City of Papillion.
All donations will be for either spring or fall planting. Orders received by February 1st will be planted in the spring. Fall planting orders must be received by August 1st. Trees may be purchased through the Papillion Public Works Department, 122 East Third Street, Papillion, NE 68046 (402.597.2043).
Donations are tax deductible and all donors will receive a certificate commemorating their contribution. A plaque is displayed in City Hall listing all CommemoraTree donations.
