2013 Spring Clean-Up Days
The Papillion Public Works Department will sponsor the Annual Spring Cleanup Days on April 18, 19, 20, and 21, 2013. You must bring a copy of your water bill to show proof of residency in order to be allowed to take advantage of this service.
We will be accepting household furniture, lawn furniture, storm doors and windows, major appliances, broken toys, bicycles, bed springs and mattresses, construction materials, undamaged propane tanks, automotive parts, automotive batteries, and all electronics, including televisions and computers. Tree limbs and yard waste will be accepted but must be free of garbage, and bags must be removed.
We cannot accept tires, automotive oil, paint, hazardous waste, or chemicals of any kind. (Please visit www.underthesink.org for information on a facility that will accept some of these items.)
Document shredding services will be available on Saturday, April 20, 2013 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. only. All shredding will be done onsite.
The dumping site is located at the former River City Ball Field Complex at approximately 98th Street and Portal Road (south side of Portal Road). Dumping hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during the event.
Our recyclers will haul away junk cars at no cost to you. The only requirement is to call the Public Works Department at 402-597-2043 to schedule the pick-up and to receive the proper form you will need to fill out prior to pick-up and disposal.
