Master Parks and Recreation Plan Funding Proposal:
In order to serve the growing recreational needs of the Papillion community, the Papillion City Council has proposed a Parks and Recreation Bond Issue to Papillion voters in the May 2016 primary election. The initiative would increase the current local sales and use tax rate from one and one-half percent (1½%) by an additional one-half percent (1/2%), which would be dedicated to funding parks and recreation improvements in Papillion, including a community center among other projects. 2015 Cross-Connection Questionnaire:
The 2015 Cross-Connection Questionnaire that was distributed with the November water bill can now be submitted on line. Click here to complete the form.
#2 Best Place to Live:
Papillion has once again been rated a Best Place to Live by Money magazine. For 2015, Papillion is ranked #2 on the list. More information on the ranking is available here. This is the sixth consecutive time Papillion has made Money’s list since 2005, and the fifth consecutive Top 10 Best Place ranking. Money’s Best Places ratings alternate between big cities and small cities every other year.
Neighborhood Grant Program:

Best Place in Nebraska to Raise Kids:
Bloomberg Businessweek magazine has named Papillion as the best place to raise kids in Nebraska. Click here to learn more about the criteria used to make this determination
Community Video Program:
The City has entered in to an agreement with CGI Communications to produce promotional videos about Papillion. Local businesses will be given the opportunity to participate in the video program as well. CGI Communications has a good business reputation and the City officially supports their activity in Papillion.
