Special Events Coordinator - Recreation Department
Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Recreation, this position will plan, organize, coordinate, promote and facilitate Sumtur Amphitheater and assigned special events for the City of Papillion Recreation Department to ensure maximum and efficient utilization of community opportunities. The incumbent will be required to work varied hours including evenings, weekends and holidays. Salary Range is $32,012 - $42,141.
Job Requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Parks and Recreation Management, Public Relations, Communications, and Marketing or like degree preferred or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
2. Prefer a minimum of 2 years experience in event planning and/or management.
3. Minimum of 1 year supervisory experience preferred.
4. Proficiency in computer programs and spreadsheet development and superior customer service skills required.
5. Must possess valid driver's license.
6. Must be bondable.
