City Council

1. Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and City Council of the City of Papillion will hold a meeting on the 7th day of September, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. in the City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East Third St., Papillion, NE 68046.  This meeting will be open to the public.  An agenda for the meeting is kept continuously current and is available for public inspection at the office of the city clerk. Requests for any special accommodations should be made to the city clerk at least forty eight hours prior to the time of the meeting.  

2. Notice is hereby given that the Papillion City Council will hold a public hearing on the 7th day of September 2010 at 7:00 PM at City Hall.  The purpose of the hearing is to consider a $9,513,258 increase to the current expenditures and a $9,478,258 increase to revenues to the City's 2009/2010 budget. The reason for the amendment is to adjust for unforeseen revenues and expenses related to a sale of a lot in the business park requiring infrastructure improvements, grants being approved an donations being received, increase to health insurance cost due to higher than anticipated claims, the refunding of various general obligation bonds, the transferring of expenditure authority between the administrative department and the recreation department, and the development of ballfields using restricted park funds.  A detailed listing of the specific amendments for this action shall be kept continually current and available with Nancy Purscell, Director of Finance, for public inspection upon request.

3. Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the City of Papillion will hold a public hearing on the 7th day of September, 2010, at 7:00 PM at the City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East Third St., Papillion, NE 68046 to consider:

R10-0143 - A special use permit to allow Gaming Facility as a permitted use on the property legally described as Lot 2, Huntington Park Replat, generally located at 501 Olson Dr.  The applicant is Players' Keno Inc. d/b/a Jerzes Bar & Grill.

This meeting will be open to the public.  An agenda for the meeting is kept continuously current and available for public inspection at the office of the City Clerk.

4. PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given, in compliance with the provisions of State Statute Section 77-1601.02, that the governing body will meet on the 7th day of September 2010, at 7 o'clock P.M., at City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East Third St for the purpose of hearing support, opposition, criticism, suggestions or observations of taxpayers relating to setting the final tax request at a different amount than the prior year tax request.

Planning Commission

1. Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Papillion will hold a meeting on the 25th day of August, 2010, at 7:00 PM at the City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East Third St., Papillion, NE 68046.  This meeting will be open to the public.  An agenda for the meeting is kept continuously current and available for public inspection at the Planning Department.

2. Notice is hereby given that the Planning Commission of the City of Papillion will hold public hearings on the 25th day of August, 2010, at 7:00 PM at the City Hall Council Chambers, 122 East Third St., Papillion, NE 68046 to consider:

To consider a special use permit to allow Child Care Center as a permitted use on the property legally described as Tax Lot 16B1A, Section 26, T14N, R12E, generally located at 517 S. Washington St.  The applicant is Cozy Lil' Cottage Childcare, Inc.
